Gutter & yard work in Oshawa, Ontario

With so many Oshawa homes built before 1981, fall is when to book the furnace service and have an electrician look at an older panel before the heating season. Oshawa collects yard waste every other week on garbage day from mid-April to early December, in paper bags or marked open-top containers under 20 kg (44 lb). Grass clippings and plastic bags are not accepted. Oshawa’s Tree By-law protects City trees — usually those within 2 m of the curb or 1.5 m of the sidewalk — which residents may not prune or alter. For private trees, only Durham Region’s Woodland By-law applies, to woodlands larger than 1 hectare. Doyo books yard and outdoor work across Oshawa: describe the job, see the full price before you book, and pay only when it is done.

You see the price before you book. Some jobs are a flat price, some are priced by the measure — a bedroom, a window, a square foot — and some are by the hour; the page says which, and so does the app before you confirm. Prices on this site are the full price, Doyo’s service fee included — nothing is added at checkout. Your card is held when a pro is confirmed and charged only when the job is marked complete. If the work turns out bigger, the pro has to put the new figure to you in the chat and wait for your yes — under Ontario law they cannot charge more than 10% over the estimate without your agreement.
