By the hour. Before you book you see the pro’s hourly rate, the estimated time and Doyo’s service fee. Your card is held when a pro is confirmed and charged only when the job is marked complete. If the work turns out bigger, the pro has to put the new figure to you in the chat and wait for your yes — under Ontario law they cannot charge more than 10% over the estimate without your agreement.
Who supplies the paint?
Either works. Say so when you book: if the painter brings it, agree the brand and colour in the chat first so the cost is in writing.
