Handyman: common questions
You see the price before you book. Some jobs are a flat price, some are priced by the measure — a bedroom, a window, a square foot — and some are by the hour; the page says which, and so does the app before you confirm. Prices on this site are the full price, Doyo’s service fee included — nothing is added at checkout. Your card is held when a pro is confirmed and charged only when the job is marked complete. If the work turns out bigger, the pro has to put the new figure to you in the chat and wait for your yes — under Ontario law they cannot charge more than 10% over the estimate without your agreement.
