Every pro passes an ID check and a police record check. Electricians, plumbers, gas technicians and exterminators are licence-checked too — tap the badge on any profile to see what was verified.
No surprise bills
You see the rate and Doyo’s fee before you book. A pro can’t add to the bill without your yes in writing, and your card is charged only when the work is done.

Help centreHow are pros checked?
Every pro provides government photo ID and a matching selfie, and passes a police record check. For electrical, plumbing, gas and pest control, Doyo also checks the licence and keeps checking that it is in date.
How much does it cost?
Pros set their own rates. Before you book you see the rate, the estimated time and Doyo’s service fee. Your card is held when a pro is confirmed and charged only when the job is done.
Which languages can I use?
English, French, Persian or Spanish — written or spoken. Doyo replies in the language you use.
Where does Doyo work?
Across the GTA: Toronto, North York, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Newmarket and Aurora. We open city by city, starting in Newmarket.
