Flooring & tile installers in Oshawa, Ontario

Oshawa has the oldest housing in Durham: about 60% of its homes were built before 1981 and about 24% in 1960 or earlier, and at 27% it has the highest share of apartments of any Durham municipality. In Oshawa the flooring pro checks the subfloor before quoting — moisture in a basement slab, squeaks and dips upstairs — and says what has to come up first. Building permits

Oshawa’s Building Services needs a permit for finishing a basement, changing heating or plumbing systems, a shed over 15 m² (161 sq ft), and a deck that is more than 600 mm (24 in) high or has a roof. Replacing a furnace with the ductwork unchanged, a same-size window or door, plumbing fixtures, or shingles needs none.

Help centre

By written quote. A pro visits, looks at the space and sends a line-by-line quote in the app. You pay a deposit when you accept it, and Doyo holds that deposit until you confirm the work is done. Part of the pro’s payment is held back for a warranty period after completion, so there is still money on the table if something needs putting right.
