Brush goes out in tied bundles no larger than 2 m by 1 m, with branches up to 7.5 cm across. Street trees belong to the Town of Milton and can’t be removed by residents. For a tree entirely on your own property, the Town asks you to confirm it’s on your side of the line and recommends a certified arborist before removal; lots over 0.5 hectares or inside the Regional Greenlands System also fall under Halton Region’s tree rules. Milton’s Windrow Removal Program clears the plow ridge at the end of the driveway for residents 65+ or with a disability who have no able-bodied person 16+ at home, for $71 a season from December 1 to March 31. It runs after snowfalls over 10 cm, at least 36 hours after the roads are done, and doesn’t clear the driveway itself.
