Halton Hills has no snow-clearing program for seniors and doesn’t clear driveway windrows; it plows about 160 km of sidewalks and paths — just over half the town’s — on main roads and near schools, within 24 to 48 hours of a storm ending. Pushing snow onto the road breaks the Town’s Highway Encumbrance By-law and brings a fine.
