Building permits
In Vaughan an uncovered deck needs no building permit if it is no more than 18.6 m² (about 200 sq ft), no more than 0.6 m (2 ft) above grade and not attached to the house; anything bigger, higher or attached does. A shed or other accessory building of 10 m² or more needs a permit too.

No provincial licence
No provincial licence is needed to build a deck or a fence, but many decks need a building permit from the town. Say in your quote which permits the job needs and who applies for them.
Some trades also ask for proof of liability insurance; the application tells you if yours does. Doyo reviews your documents — usually within a couple of business days.
Payouts
How payouts work
For jobs the customer pays by card through Doyo, your earnings reach your Doyo balance when the job is completed, and payouts are sent weekly by e-transfer. Tips are yours in full. On quote jobs, the deposit and balance are held until the customer confirms the work, and a warranty holdback is released after the warranty period.
