- What it is. The Launch Pass is promotional credit worth up to $1,000 CAD in total, split into 8 service lots. It reduces only Doyo’s service fee on bookings made through the Doyo app or www.doyo.ca. It never reduces the amount paid to the service professional (“Pro”), and it never covers taxes.
- The 8 lots. Each lot can only be used on the services listed for it:
- Heating & Cooling: $150
- Plumbing: $125
- Electrical: $125
- Cleaning: $125
- Handyman & Pest: $100
- Outdoor & Snow: $100
- Moving & Junk: $75
- Big Projects (painting, renovation, flooring, closets, landscaping): $200
The services in each lot are listed on www.doyo.ca/pass.
- How much is used per booking.
- Your first completed booking in a lot: the Pass covers Doyo’s full service fee, up to what is left in that lot. You pay the Pro’s price, plus tax.
- Later bookings in the same lot: the Pass covers up to half of Doyo’s service fee, after payment processing costs, until the lot is used up.
- The app shows the exact amount before you confirm.
- Worked example.
- A $175 furnace tune-up normally costs $206.50 ($175 Pro price + $31.50 Doyo fee).
- With your Pass, your first Heating & Cooling booking costs $175, and $31.50 comes off that lot.
- A second tune-up costs about $193.90, with about $12.60 off.
- To use a full lot, or all $1,000, you would need many bookings or large projects over 12 months. Most customers will use part of their Pass.
- Who can get it.
- New Doyo customers who create an account between November 3, 2026 and January 31, 2027 (11:59 p.m. ET).
- You must be 18 or older, verify your mobile number, add a payment card, and have a service address in the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, York, Peel, Durham and Halton regions).
- Limit: one Pass per person, household address, mobile number, payment card and device.
- Expiry.
- Each lot expires 12 months after the date your Pass is issued.
- Unused amounts expire and have no value after that date.
- We’ll remind you 7 days before a lot expires, through the app and, if you agreed to receive them, by email.
- The Pass is free and requires no purchase.
- No cash value.
- The Pass can’t be exchanged for cash, transferred, sold or combined with another account.
- It is not a gift card, a payment card or a loan.
- Cancellations and refunds.
- If a booking is cancelled or refunded, the Pass amount used goes back to the same lot with its original expiry date.
- If your first booking in a lot is cancelled before it’s completed, your next booking in that lot still counts as your first.
- Other offers.
- The Pass can be used together with one coupon per booking.
- Together, the coupon and the Pass can’t reduce more than Doyo’s service fee on that booking.
- Availability of Pros.
- The Pass doesn’t guarantee that a Pro will be available for every service, area or time.
- Doyo is still adding Pros across the GTA.
- Misuse.
- Doyo may cancel a Pass that was obtained or used through fraud, duplicate accounts, or a breach of these terms or Doyo’s Terms of Service.
- Doyo may also reverse any Pass amounts used on those bookings.
- Changes and ending.
- Doyo may end the sign-up period early by posting a notice at www.doyo.ca/pass.
- Passes already issued keep their lots and expiry dates.
- Marketing messages.
- Getting the Pass doesn’t require you to agree to marketing messages.
- We only send promotional email or SMS if you tick the opt-in box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
