Flooring & tile installers in Mississauga, Ontario

Mississauga’s homes are older than its newer neighbours’: about 38% were built before 1981 and only about 23% in 2001 or later, and apartments outnumber single-detached houses. In a Mississauga basement, check the flooding protection first: Mississauga’s Basement Flooding Prevention Rebate pays up to $7,500 for detached, semi-detached, duplex and townhouse owners — up to $6,000 for a sump pump, $1,000 for capping the foundation drain, $1,500 for a storm backwater valve and $125 per downspout disconnection. Work must be pre-approved before it starts and installed by a licensed contractor. Peel Region adds 60% of the cost, up to $1,500, for a sanitary backwater valve with a permit and passed inspection. Doyo books flooring across Mississauga: describe the job, see the full price before you book, and pay only when it is done.

Building permits

Mississauga needs a building permit for a finished basement, a deck more than 0.61 m (2 ft) high, a backwater valve, a higher-efficiency furnace or altered ductwork, and any sink, tub, toilet or shower that’s added or moved. A free-standing, one-storey storage shed under 15 m² with no plumbing doesn’t need one, and neither does a fence.

Help centre

By written quote. A pro visits, looks at the space and sends a line-by-line quote in the app. You pay a deposit when you accept it, and Doyo holds that deposit until you confirm the work is done. Part of the pro’s payment is held back for a warranty period after completion, so there is still money on the table if something needs putting right.
