Aurora needs no building permit to finish a basement with no structural work and no new bedrooms, for a deck no more than 0.6 m (2 ft) above grade with no roof, for a shed of 15 m² or less with no plumbing, or for a fence that does not enclose a pool. Some trades also ask for proof of liability insurance; the application tells you if yours does. Doyo reviews your documents — usually within a couple of business days.
Payouts
How payouts work
For jobs the customer pays by card through Doyo, your earnings reach your Doyo balance when the job is completed, and payouts are sent weekly by e-transfer. Tips are yours in full. On quote jobs, the deposit and balance are held until the customer confirms the work, and a warranty holdback is released after the warranty period.
