NT Power (Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution) delivers the electricity in Newmarket, and takes service-upgrade and meter-relocation requests through its online form. Both councils approved selling NT Power to Alectra in March 2026; the sale is before the Ontario Energy Board, and NT Power keeps operating until it closes.
